Antiquarian Maps
Michael Hughes, our M.D., is the Irish National representative of the International Map Collectors’ Society (IMCoS). As such, if you are interested in map collecting, he would encourage you to consider joining IMCoS and therefore invites you to visit their website, www.imcos.org.
We hold Ireland’s largest stocks of antiquarian maps and are constantly looking to buy or trade early maps of Ireland.
All our maps are guaranteed genuine and original. Our current collection includes maps from as early as 1573 by such renowned cartographers as Abraham Ortelius, John Speed, Petrus Bertius, Johannes Jansonius, Taylor and Skinner, D A Beaufort, Alain Mallet, Vincenzo Coronelli, Aristide Perrot, Alfred Adlard, Captain Greenville Collins and Sir William Petty.

The map featured above is “Hibernia Regnvm Vulgo Ireland” c1633 by Johannes Jansonius Jr.
Apart from over 100 maps of Ireland, we also carry maps of the original 5 provinces, Connaught, Leinster, Munster, Ulster, and Media, as well as maps of each of the 32 counties and items of more local interest.
We also hold stocks of antiquarian maps of many parts of the world. For further information, please contact us.
Please note we have many more antiquarian maps available in our galleries. Please scroll down to view a selection of maps on offer and contact us for a full inventory or to confirm availability of a map, as many come and go quickly.
